LS Snake Fest

Just wondering if anyone is planning on going to Little Sahara for Snake Fest weekend. It is the weekend of April 2nd.

There should be about 6 of us down there.

I might swing down there...if someone from here could find a place for me to sqeeze in my little dakota, I could probably pull it off. We'll see...90% of my dune trips are spur of the moment anyhow. Seems like it gets crazier year after year & I don't want to go down a week in advance & still be looking for a decent parking place.

That's exactly the reason I won't be making it...I'd love to go but after driving for 9 hours to get there, spending most of the night to find a parking spot on the side of the street doesn't sound too appealing I'm gonna try and make the spring break trip to LS

i'll be there with at least 8 people camped up on the hill behind the oasis. when i find out for sure how many vehicles i'll let you know if we have any extra room.

you can but they are all reserved for snakehunt weekend. we reserved ours about 3 months ago and at that time there were not very many left.

I'll be down for snakehunt. I think they have added some more spots to reserve but they are going fast.

I stay in a cabin at Roman Nose resort in Watonga just down the road. I can't stand all the hustle and bustle so I stay a few miles away to escape all that. Plus it's relaxing after a long day of riding.

hey brad how far is this place... i looked it up and shows over an hr away... too far for me... i just thought it would be fun to do once... but normally i like to stay at the dunes... cus you are not duning unless you are living it at night... ppl revving there buggies and quads till wee hrs of the night its awesome...if you drink enough beer its like music...
