whats wrong when the pipes turn red and sparks shoot out of my silencers?? long story held wide open in the snow. Should i let it be or do i gotta tear it down??

I have no clue at all but done they have some type of packing inside? Maybe it needs replaced. just my thoughts

Sounds like it is too lean. Sparks could be carbon or piston material.

Yep, the weather got cold and you didn't jet up. Is it a banshee? The stock yfz are know for that. They come a little lean. Header pipe will turn bright red.....not good.

So no big deal?? just jet up?? Could it be i ran ngk 9s in it?? My pistons not fried?? I left it at my friends house so ill juat take the roads back nice and easy

Just look at the plugs. If you see sparkly silver specs, then thats detonation. Don't ride it. If not, then you should be fine. Buy a compression tester and check your compression, that'll give you peace and mind and let you know where you stand. You should have one anyways. They only cost $20-50...Go back to B8ES. The 9's are just cooler..
