bansheelover
the one coming from the head to the top of the radiator or the one coming from the bottom of the rad to the water impeller ...... i assumed that the line coming from the head is going into the rad to cool down so it would give you a better idea of what temp your engine is running.... please anybody, correct me if i am wrong thanks guys Matt

cam2
yes, the hose coming out of the front of the head (not the top, small vent hose) is the output to the rad, and yes this is where you want to put your gauge.
boonman
My temp guage works splendidly in the small "vent" hose. Contrary to popular belief, coolant actually does flow out of that orifice. Ever leave that hose off and see what happens? Friggin' guyser!!!!!
