pimpeinkc Posted December 22, 2004 Report Posted December 22, 2004 you always have options.... you can clean up the threads with a tap and or run a longer bolt in it. you could if there is enough space, drill itout to a through hole and use a nut on the back side. you can also buy stuff to put in the hole like loc tite form a thread which uses the bolt and a releasing agent to reform the threads and if need be you can drill and tap it to a larger size, it kdon't have to be metric.
