banshee76179 Posted December 18, 2004 Report Posted December 18, 2004 Ok, for one it's not a banshee. and 2 its a suzuki 1986 LT F230 Quadrunner that my buddy got dirt cheap nearly given to him...but, anyway heres the deal its a 4 stroke, which I have NO ideal about, other than the basic functions. It will not start... Its getting fuel, spark and air..it will run if U spray some carb cleaner in the carb andit will run for a little while and the die What other things to look for on this thing? He wants to give it to his SON for his 8th b_day which is on the 29th.... I have done this so far. 1 clean the carb out, and cleaned the pilot and main as the best I could. 2 put in a new spark plug 3 cleaned the air filter Any suggestion would be appreciated..thanks Quote
itsaripper Posted December 19, 2004 Report Posted December 19, 2004 When you add the carb cleaner you are just replacing the gas. So go back into the carb and get a air nozzel and blow it out. Something in the idle circuit is still pluged. Quote
