Otis
I didnt get these new, so i dont have the washer to use as a guide as to how much to cut off the fins on the stock intake. Anyone know how much to leave??...1/16th..1/8th inch??.... Edited December 8, 2004 by Otis
bdrak11
Dont know the answer to this, i shaved off just enough so that everything fit . Also used a reed spacer.
wesw
if youre talking about the rubbers that stick into the intake port cut them flush and them mount the v forces on. make sure the gaskets dont leak you dont want any air leaks and a lean condition
jaysea1
AS stated above, just cut flush, so the surface is even for the gasket, the washers just make an easier guide to follow when cutting. It leaves just enough area for a hacksaw blade to fit in.
