mrichmond Posted December 5, 2004 Report Posted December 5, 2004 ive got a 98 banshee which is giving me some strange problems. last month after riding about 30 min it quit on me kicking it over with throttle open it would start run roughly and if you gave it more throttle it would die. i changed the stator it started fine and ran great for about 10 min. then the exact same thing happened. both times i had hit some water just before this problem not sure if this is a factor. any ideas. Bansheerider29x Posted December 5, 2004 Report Posted December 5, 2004 hey i had that problem you probably need a rebuild becuase when mine got hot it did the same thing cuz the pistion and rings were worn out if u have a lot of hours on your pistion and rings then its time for a new one i think. so try and compression check and see if u need one . after mine was rebuild i had a lot more compression later Quote
