John19 Posted November 27, 2004 Report Posted November 27, 2004 (edited) I just got off the phone with sandtrax (local atv shop) and I let them play with my shee and they did the following. 1 hour of dyno time with them adjusting the bike (jetting timing plate ect) I also had them lighten the flywheel while they were in there. The first run with the lid on was 50.0 hp way to rich. The second run he advanced the timing to 6 deg. pulled the lid and was around the 57 hp mark. I will scan the dyno sheet when I get home tomorrow from sahara. Engine mods are: Rocket inframe pipes timing +6 lightend flywheel, cool head with 18cc domes, .40 over wiseco pistons, ported and polished. I was thinking it would be around 60hp it was just shy of that. I can't wait to ride her tomorrow. Edited November 27, 2004 by John19 Quote
locogato11283 Posted November 27, 2004 Report Posted November 27, 2004 sounds pretty good man. i would check the plugs after riding for a minute. just because it was tuned on a dyno in favorable conditions doesnt mean it will be jetted correctly for your riding. i wouldreally check thngs after you ride it to make sure you arent way too lean or anything. other than that sounds like youre good to go.
