BigRed350x Posted November 9, 2004 Report Posted November 9, 2004 If I get one of those single carb conversion kits, could I use the carb off my 99 warrior for the kit? The carb is a Mikuni 36mm BSR. Quote

nickxc Posted November 10, 2004 Report Posted November 10, 2004 I dont know this for sure but I dont think it would work. I think the internals are different... Quote

I think the internals are different... 279011[/snapback] the internals of what? the carb? don't matter what the internals of the carb are so long as it mixes fuel and air at the proper ratio to have the banshee run good. just like stock is mikuni, but people go to keihen pwk carbs.... not sure what your talking about... Wallynut Posted November 10, 2004 Report Posted November 10, 2004 Only problem I could see, is if you want to use the air box adaptor sold by Trinity. The manifold shouldn't be any trouble, but the air box adaptor may not work because of the external size of that side of the carb. Otherwise, as Scott said, it's a matter of getting the jetting correct, you would be guessing since no one seems to be using that carb. Just gotta get the manifold to try it. Quote
FIRST BANSHEE Posted November 10, 2004 Report Posted November 10, 2004 as long as the carb fits the intake boot you should be good. don't know what throttle cable you'll need, but that shouldn't be a problem. good luck Quote
