Change your jetting, you'll be leaner in the cold weather. I'd also let it warm up a little longer. Some will notice harder shifting, but never had that problem running ATF type F fluid in the tranny.

Try riding a banshee going 60 across a lake in -10 temps without a windshield. Its fun though

I have done it a few times. I live just below the canadian border in NY, we have a good -40 weekend or so per winter. and lots of cold other than that. im usually on the sleds in the winter but I have been know to blow up a sled and go home and get the shee out...

make sure you jet it up a little to compensate for the colder air

I would recomend having good foam air filter with good water resistant oil to keep any snow out

and yes definately a good pair of leather gloves to keep that windchill off...

When your hands get cold, just stop and grab a hold of your pipes for a few seconds. Warms them right up.

yes this works but then you gotta get that burning skin smell out of your quad and cloaths and heaven knows thats a bitch... :D

I found a pair of gloves at Gander Mountain last year.

They have a vent hole near the wrist with a magnect to keep it closed. When your hands get cold stop lift up the flap and blow your warm breath in there. Goes all the way to the fingertips. Cost me like $25-30.
