Wassup350 Posted November 3, 2004 Report Posted November 3, 2004 Does anyone else here think that manufacturers should come up with names for the quads?? Back in the day It was banshee, warrior, quadracer, quadzilla, tecate, etc. Nowadays its all numbers!!! You'd think Yamaha would come up with a cool name for the YFZ450 They did for the YFZ350, and Banshee is a lot catchier then YFZ350, you could talk to someone about a YFZ350 and they wouldnt have a clue but when you say banshee, they know exactly what your talkin about. Idk i guess im thinking toomuch Quote
rocketpig Posted November 3, 2004 Report Posted November 3, 2004 That seems to be a general trend with Japanese companies across the board... Back in the 80's, most of the streetbikes had cool names (Hurricane, Katana, Ninja, etc)... Now only the Ninja survives and the rest have gone back to numeric names. I liked the old names. Quote
