broke Posted October 25, 2004 Report Posted October 25, 2004 I had a Sidekick with 6" of lift running 33x12.5's. I'm sure I still have pics of it somewhere, I'll have to go digging. It had a 3.5" suspension lift and 2.5ish" of body lify that was actually drilled out hockey pucks. I know that sounds stupid and if my son told me he was going to do it I would have told him it is stupid, but it worked. The fronts did rub it you really turned tight and hit even the slightest bump. We did have to open up the wheel wells slightly(very easy to do on those) to stop it from eating the tires when they really got stuffed up in there. Thankfully with the gears it came with it really did run good with the big meats on it. But I did get "extremely" good at putting clutches in it. The motor was so light it took a few guys with a 8' 4x4 and a couple of chains to lift it out. Good luck, I do still miss mine sometimes. Quote
