BANSHEE_JAY Posted October 22, 2004 Report Posted October 22, 2004 My question is would the dial a jet be good for avid trail riders like myself we go up the mountains alot and sometimes the bike works better then others?? If anyone knows or has tried this please inform me!! Quote
hamuel Posted October 22, 2004 Report Posted October 22, 2004 all the dial a jet does is allow you to adjust your main with out entering the bowl. They would probly save you alot of head ace of buying mains and having to change them every time you leave to go ride some where different. are they worth the 100 bones +14 for the vents? and the 40-100 do have them installed? that's something i can't answer Quote
BANSHEE_JAY Posted October 23, 2004 Author Report Posted October 23, 2004 thanx for the info but i think i need more before i try them!! Quote
FIRST BANSHEE Posted October 24, 2004 Report Posted October 24, 2004 I have some friends that used them on trere sleds and liked them. they installed them thereselves and said they worked great with the changing temps in the U.P Quote
FireHead Posted October 24, 2004 Report Posted October 24, 2004 I use the slutty power jet equivalent on all of my bike. its gives you +-5 main sizes at the very least. Very few people tune their bikes correctly and this is certainly na aid in doing so. Quote
Tim C Posted October 25, 2004 Report Posted October 25, 2004 I have them in my Vito's carbs and really like them. They give you lots of adjustment and only takes a few seconds to make jetting changes. If you travel up to the mountain I'm sure you'd like them too. Quote
BANSHEE_JAY Posted October 26, 2004 Author Report Posted October 26, 2004 Ok !! Can i run them in stock carbs?? Quote
FIRST BANSHEE Posted October 26, 2004 Report Posted October 26, 2004 I think dial a jet will have that answer Quote
