bick Posted October 18, 2004 Report Posted October 18, 2004 my t5 pipes should be here next week. i live at Oklahoma(pretty close to sea level). How should I jet my banshee. my airbox lid is removed, and i got a K & N cone filter. Please help... Ready to go to the dunes. Quote
01bansheeke Posted October 18, 2004 Report Posted October 18, 2004 do you have any porting? i'd say around a 320 or so with the needle on the fourth clip. I ran a 360 in myne, but i have a ton of porting. Quote
bick Posted October 18, 2004 Author Report Posted October 18, 2004 no porting, pretty much just stock. im new at the banshee scene. how easy is it to re-jet it. its got dynoport pipes on it now, and it was jetted for those pipes.right now my buddy is putting a new top end on it. Quote
01bansheeke Posted October 18, 2004 Report Posted October 18, 2004 you should jet up from those pipes. what is in it now? Quote
bick Posted October 18, 2004 Author Report Posted October 18, 2004 Man, i really don't know. i wouldn't be able to tell the difference between the jets. hell, i don't even know were to find them. so i need to take two jets out of each carb and change them out. and which ones are they. pilots, mains...? I've had the TORS system off the top of my carbs, are the needles hanging off of the bottom of those mains or what are they. 320 is that the size of mains? Quote
MotulMonsta Posted October 18, 2004 Report Posted October 18, 2004 The main jet is where the needle slides into. The number on the side is the size. The pilot is foward of the main and it's burried you need a small flatehead to extract it. Don't worry about the pilot right now..if your machine idles and doesn't stall then it's doing it's job. bigboybanshee Posted October 18, 2004 Report Posted October 18, 2004 With my setup I run 280 mains...plugs are a nice chocolate brown Quote
Big Blue Posted October 18, 2004 Report Posted October 18, 2004 i'd say around a 320 or so with the needle on the fourth clip. i had my t6's jetted the same way. Quote
