Tonight I think Boston just simply played well. ... with the exception of the pop-fly mishap of course...(communication boston!) anyways, good games, good times. That's what Baseball is all about. Lee Posted October 25, 2004 Report Posted October 25, 2004 I do wish however, that the Sox were up against Oakland. It would nostalgic, at least for me. I remember games my aunt would take me to as a kid. We'd hop a bus to bean-town and watch Boston vs. either Oakland or St. Louis. For me, as a kid, Oakland was my 2nd favorite team (aside form the loyalty to the home team Boston). So it didn't matter who won. Watching your two favorite teams play a game of baseball right in front of your eyes; as a kid I couldn't have asked for anything better. Today, I'm glad to see Boston in it, and to play close games; just to get that feeling again. IMHO, it's a good year in baseball. Quote
