zpolencheck Posted October 14, 2004 Report Posted October 14, 2004 Hi I just bought this Banshee about 2 weeks ago and it needed a rebuild. I rebuilt it tonight and it only runs on one cylinder untill I pull the choke, then the other one fires right up and it runs on them both but the opposite side runs crappy(since it is on choke and it doesn't need to be). The carbs are jetted the exact same, everything is hooked up (including the little hose between carbs that run the choke). Plugs were changed and still does the same. Please help! Quote
banshdog Posted October 14, 2004 Report Posted October 14, 2004 Clean the carbs? sounds like you should at least take apart the one side that is not firing and clean it good. make sure the carbs are in sync. check the air screws check idle screws, TORS still on? Quote
zpolencheck Posted October 14, 2004 Author Report Posted October 14, 2004 I fixed the problem, it actually was that the floats needed adjustment...wasn't letting gas into the carb untill I pulled the choke, then it took gas from the other carb. thanks for the help though. Quote
