I had my Rockets coated by Jet-Hot.I think it was $130 for the pipes and would have been $40 for the silencers, but i didn't get them done.Wish i would have. What kind of problems does it cause,i've been running mine for a couple months now without any problems.

I've had mine ceramic Coated for over a year, and I haven't noticed any problems with them holding any heat. Actually everything I have read says that it will help dissipate more heat. I got mine done here in Oregon for $150 a side

everyone i have talked to said good things about jet hot doing two stroke pipes. i have seen A TON of 4 strokes running them. Do explain why you say its bad.

If you do decide to do this..JET HOT is the way to go. Don't accept imitations. Their work is top notch.

Good info guys. I would like to hear why it's bad so I can weigh that in, but I have heard quite a few good testimonials.

I bought a set of PT Mids pretty cheap and they're gonna need refinishing if I decide to keep them after I try them, so I'm weighing what to do with them. I think ceramic coating is the best bet right now. I don't want to powdercoat them, cause I don't like black or any other color, chrome is the only look I want, and the ceramic coating is pretty close. In fact, if anyone has pics, please share.

Damn Faded, those look really good. So was that $130 per pipe or for the both? Those look very nice indeed. Thanks for posting the pics.

I found my invoice from them.It was $135 for both pipes and the shipping was $25 from them.I found the email from them too. They charge $20 to $40 for the silencers depending on the size.

That's a deal you can't beat, for sure. Do you know if they take it down to bare metal for a complete refinish or just a little sand and go over. Hell, I guess I could give 'em a call.

Thanks again. That's a sweet deal IMO.

I used jst-hot for my dynoport 2 inot 1 pipe, and it turned out killer! they double sand blast the inside and out b4 doing it. I had picked up the pipe worn out looking as hell(little dings) and now it looks killer!

I talked to Jet Hot and he said $75 a pipe and $20 to $40 for the stinger/silencers. So, what did you do to get $80 for the pipes racer? I think this is the route to take when I'm ready.

So, know one's noticed any difference with the difference in heat inside the pipe? How does the heat compare on the outside of the pipes?

Later.
