Banchetta Posted October 8, 2004 Report Posted October 8, 2004 hmm thats wierd how so many ppl have problems....i wash mine after every ride and i spray her down pretty good and make sure i have Everything spotless...and it fires right up after every wash... Me too, I'll ride through water at least a foot deep and have no issues with my carbs.... Don't ever sell your shee. I've had 4 shees and they all do it...whether its washing it or riding through a puddle....I tried water skipping w/ paddles in the rear and knobby fronts.... I made it, but damn that water was cold..my shee ran like shit for the next hour after that joy ride.... Quote
DuneRoller Posted October 11, 2004 Report Posted October 11, 2004 Never any problems with mine either. I wash mine after every ride and it fires right up. Quote
superchicken Posted October 11, 2004 Report Posted October 11, 2004 could be that you have some moisture in the stator cover.sometime mine gets it in there.pull it off and youll know if you have some water in there, and let it sit overnight to dry Quote
Banchetta Posted October 11, 2004 Report Posted October 11, 2004 My stator have always been spotless, no rust, no corrosion, not even a drop.....But 90% of shees do this...My '00 had no problem until I pulled the carb tops off, then I was done..... Quote
