Can anyone compare rockets to anything else?

well before i got my rockets on i ran my passion engine with t5's. it ran pretty good. after i put the rockets on the top end went nuts. they dont have near the bottom or mid range that t5s do but on top they are wild. my brother also tried the rockets on his and lost all mid range. what kinda riding do you do?

I ride trails mostly and rr tracks. But I do ride those crazy hills up in hazelton. I dont

need Bottom end. Should I get the rockets? Did you ever get burnt?

The CPI's are comparable, I just switched from T-5's to CPI's and gained power everywhere. But that was my motor if your not ported I wouldn't get CPI's, unless you plan on porting soon.

What do you mean by porting? How much is it?

Porting usually runs from 300-500 bucks, all it does is change the intake and exhaust flow patterns and characteristics. But this will produce more power than pipes alone. Just get you porting done by a good builder. Like Jim (PassionRE on here), or patriotracing.net or if you wanna be a crazy dragger A&S fo sho on the big motors.

if interested i could port your motor to run with the rocket pipes, noone who owns the rocket pipes to this day have the right port timings, noone seems to understand what realy works or should i say listen, (what port timings they were designed for) but they seem to kick ass all over our bikes f-in scream! minkia has the best deals in mi on the rockets if you decide on them, if you or anyone need porting specs for the rocket pipes feel free to pm me thanks,
