knight_ripper Posted September 24, 2004 Report Posted September 24, 2004 I just read....as I am perusing through my manual....that the rubber plugs on the botton of the cyl's need gaskecinch on um....prior to reinstall. I had my cyl's bored....so the guy took um out. I just poped um back in there and put her back together. Am I fucked or what? Quote
duecebanshees Posted September 25, 2004 Report Posted September 25, 2004 No, you are probably not fu**ed, coolant will leak out of them if they are not sealed. So you should know for sure pretty quick if they are not sealed properly. If you had known prior to installing them it wouldn't hurt to put some on them to be for sure that they are sealed up good.
