Cotton eyed Joe Posted September 22, 2004 Report Posted September 22, 2004 Can you put one together for a tapered bearing? Because I KNOW what you mean... "I can get a great bearing for $1 each" then go and buy it. It's made out of recycled soup cans but that's good enough for you Since you can get your own bearings, PM me a bearing code, and I'll check on it. If its the SAME dimensions as a 6007 then yes. If not, I will have to wait until my next run, that is, if I can get aluminum Well, maybe you can find out what the dimensions are if you can. If not, just the bearing size code. On the bearing cost...I found the 6007 bearings as high as $34 EACH at my discount...Retail at around $40. I have also found bearings on the very very bottom at around $3-$4 each. I won't sell those...but I do sell a nice middle of the road bearing. Quote

Holyman Posted September 29, 2004 Report Posted September 29, 2004 OK... CEJ the bearing number is 32007X it is 35mm bore 62mm OD and 18MM thick. My cost is about $30 each without buying any quantity. The available seal is 5MM {as I recall}. I would think that all you would have to do is bore your regular dimensions a little deeper and just allow for your seal thickness. Let me know if that's do-able. Quote
