370banshee Posted October 7, 2004 Author Report Posted October 7, 2004 i got my paddles in bout 4 days ago. and then i also bought another full set of sand tires 20x10x10 hauler8's and mohawks from some guy i met for ---- well lets say CHEAP CHEAP. anyway the hualer 8's are kinda beat up but the mohawks are in great shape. and they are all on wheels so i'm good to go. i also ordered a spark arrested toomey hush kit today. so i'm ready to rock for silver lake oct22-24 Quote
Justintoxicated Posted October 8, 2004 Report Posted October 8, 2004 I run 160's on the front and 125's for the read. Sand is soft and it will give, I could probably run 125's on the front too Quote
super88_banshee Posted October 8, 2004 Report Posted October 8, 2004 on our last trip to the dunes i purchased a set of sandstar fronts and love those. i was wanting to get the rears because i hear good things about those. I was wanting to know if they had very much straight line hook up(i want to wheelie) but i like having angled paddles because you can turn so much better. Thx Quote
hamuel Posted October 8, 2004 Report Posted October 8, 2004 the wheel part it's all about clutching and the power yah got to use. yah can wheel with just about anything. They do got great bite thought Quote
