PolyKarbon Posted August 30, 2004 Author Report Posted August 30, 2004 Thanks, I should have checked the FAQ first. Quote
racer Posted August 30, 2004 Report Posted August 30, 2004 that in conjunction with the removal of the P-brake i think you save like 7 pounds. and as and added bonus you get to put more billet onto your shee Quote
locogato11283 Posted September 1, 2004 Report Posted September 1, 2004 people take them off cuz its the "cool" thing to do. Quote
Gargamel Posted September 1, 2004 Report Posted September 1, 2004 I took mine off cause all ya have to do is put it gear and it won't move!!! If it's loaded on a trailer without sides and I want extra security that it won't move I have a piece of velcrow I wrap around the front brake lever and wala parking brake. And the tors suck cause all the above is true. Had my shee suddenly stop reving flying through some trail and almost pooped myself when it happened. Needless to say disconnected that night!!!! When i stand mine up all I do is put it in 1st and stand it up, no probs. I have never found a use for the e-brake. Quote
evil Posted September 1, 2004 Report Posted September 1, 2004 ok so the e brake is for standing it up on the back ? then why lock up the front brake lever with velcrowe or a fast strap ? Quote

If i had it adjusted to the point where it would actually hold the bike somewhere, the rear brake was adjusted too tight and would drag. So I used it a total of 0 times. I don't know why the hell they even bother. Quote
