jeepman137 Posted August 30, 2004 Report Posted August 30, 2004 i was cleaning my shee early in the morning today, and i was wiping the dried dirt off the top of the right side cylinder when i noticed 2 grey plug connectors hanging over the top of the cylinder, they arent connected to anything, and they look like 2 female connectors so they cant go together. can somebody tell me what these might go to? im new to 2 strokes and to my banshee so i dont know it very well yet... and can i just zip tie them up somewhere out of the way? PolyKarbon Posted August 30, 2004 Report Posted August 30, 2004 Are your lights connected to anything? If your shee fires up fine, then thats all I can think of. Other connectors go to the on/off switch, the key, etc... Quote
jeepman137 Posted August 30, 2004 Author Report Posted August 30, 2004 well the guy that had it before me took the key off, maybe thats it, and my shee fires up fine and the lights work good... Quote
Big Blue Posted August 30, 2004 Report Posted August 30, 2004 possibly something to do with the tors system. Quote
PolyKarbon Posted August 30, 2004 Report Posted August 30, 2004 Uh oh. The TORS. Hey jeepman, Ill look through my Clymers and get back to you unless some one else gets the reply first. Quote
banshdog Posted August 30, 2004 Report Posted August 30, 2004 TORS - my guess, disconnected mine and the plastic clips are hanging there too. Quote
SICK BOY Posted August 30, 2004 Report Posted August 30, 2004 Does your shee have the TORS removed? Those plugs are for the TORS. Quote
jeepman137 Posted August 30, 2004 Author Report Posted August 30, 2004 (edited) wtf is the TORS? Edited August 30, 2004 by jeepman137 Quote
bigboybanshee Posted August 30, 2004 Report Posted August 30, 2004 TORS system has my vote...I have dangling clips too Quote
SICK BOY Posted August 30, 2004 Report Posted August 30, 2004 TORS are Throttle Over Ride System. Quote
decon Posted August 30, 2004 Report Posted August 30, 2004 (edited) you can get a TORS removal kit from Vitos ( http://www.vitosperformance.net ) or Toomey ( http://www.toomey.com ). i suggest you remove asap. Edited August 30, 2004 by dEcon Quote
banshdog Posted August 30, 2004 Report Posted August 30, 2004 If the plugs are just hangin there, the TORS may already be removed. jeepman.... on the top of your carbs are there large, bulky aluminum caps with big slotted screws in them. That is the tors sys on your carbs. If this stuff is on then get the removal kit, and junk that stuff. Also recommend the parking brake removal, that gets rid of a big mess and some of the TORS wires as well. Quote
jeepman137 Posted August 30, 2004 Author Report Posted August 30, 2004 yea i have a K AND K ATV billet parking brake block off, so the tors may already be removed... Quote
