Mod Banshee Posted August 28, 2004 Report Posted August 28, 2004 Has any one did this if so how did it work out? Quote
banshee04le Posted August 28, 2004 Report Posted August 28, 2004 I've heard they hook up pretty good, compared to stock banshee tires. They look a lot like stock banshee tires, so I can't understand why they would work much better, other than they are a radial tire and the banshee tire is not. Worth trying I guess, if you can get them cheap or free. Quote
sredish Posted August 28, 2004 Report Posted August 28, 2004 if you can get them cheap or free. if your paying anything for them then your throwing money away. if they're free great, otherwise get some real tires, aka Razrs or Holeshots. Quote
Mod Banshee Posted August 28, 2004 Author Report Posted August 28, 2004 (edited) I have a set of Razr 2s but they have Self Tapping Screws in them for Drag racing and I need a set of tires and wheels for trail Riding. And I dont want to spend over $150 Edited August 28, 2004 by Mod Banshee Quote
banshee04le Posted August 28, 2004 Report Posted August 28, 2004 Just in case you didn't know, crapturd rims won't fit on a banshee hub. Quote
Holyman Posted August 28, 2004 Report Posted August 28, 2004 Just in case you didn't know, crapturd rims won't fit ona banshee hub. yes they will Quote
banshee04le Posted August 28, 2004 Report Posted August 28, 2004 Not all of them maybe? My friend had some paddles on blue label off of his raptor (first year I think) and they would not fit on our banshees, the bolt pattern wasn't even close. We had to get different rims to mount the tires on. Quote
banshee0044 Posted August 28, 2004 Report Posted August 28, 2004 i run them on my banshee and love em...i got the two tires for 25 each so i got a deal..and love em Quote

We had to get different rims to mount the tires on. The only way the Raptor rear rims will not fit a Banshee is if the Banshee is an 89/90 with original hubs or has those hubs or Blaster hubs. The majority of the Banshees ever made have the same bolt pattern as the Raptor. Quote
01bansheeke Posted August 29, 2004 Report Posted August 29, 2004 I bought myne with banshee tires and raptor tires and wheels. The raptor wheels bolt right up. Same bolt pattern The difference between the two tires is night and day. The banshee tires blow balls. The raptor tires hook up much better. Quote
fast500#12 Posted August 29, 2004 Report Posted August 29, 2004 (edited) raptor tires do hook up alot better than banshee's do [The difference between the two tires is night and day]the differance really is night and day. but if you are paying for them get real tires. not stock yamaha crap. and yes raptor wheel do bolt right up to a banshee. i borrow my friends paddles off his raptor all the time. Nighty Posted August 29, 2004 Report Posted August 29, 2004 Banshee tires look like balloons, round shaped. Raptor tires are more squared. looks better to. The tread looks less cool. Quote
