Cotton eyed Joe Posted August 26, 2004 Report Posted August 26, 2004 anyone have handlebar risers? what kind and where did you get them? Risers? Or do you mean 1 1/8 bar adapters...they raise the height of the bars some. Quote
loganskinner Posted August 26, 2004 Author Report Posted August 26, 2004 i dont know. ive never even heard of them, but i was out riding the other day and a friend of a friend of mine told me i should get some. he said they make them up to like 3" high, and they just bolt on under the bars. Quote

SICK BOY Posted August 28, 2004 Report Posted August 28, 2004 I got a set of ROX 3" risers to clear my IMS tank and they are great.I've ran them for a year with no problems, and if they ever brake they will replace them.Rox makes up to a 5" riser. Quote
QuadMX Posted August 28, 2004 Report Posted August 28, 2004 (edited) I made my own. Not the strongest things in the world, but they get the job done. They are 1.5" blocks that I milled off flat and added those nuts and some washers to keep everything somewhat decent. I bought some 4" bolts to go into it. It's about 2.5" higher now. I'm 6'2 and it helps a lot. My arms don't get as tired and it seems a helluva lot easier to ride. Edited August 28, 2004 by QuadMX Quote
