Gordon's Hell Posted August 24, 2004 Report Posted August 24, 2004 Well today I pulled out the stock carbs on my banshee & tries to slide in the 28mm's. To my suprise it's a really loose fit. Do I have to get new intake boots? What the hell do I do? Quote
Mod Banshee Posted August 24, 2004 Report Posted August 24, 2004 I have 28mm Flat Side carbs and I did not have to get new intake boots. Quote
Gordon's Hell Posted August 25, 2004 Author Report Posted August 25, 2004 (edited) This upgrade is starting to piss me off!!! Edited August 25, 2004 by Gordon's Hell Quote
fixitrod Posted August 25, 2004 Report Posted August 25, 2004 I had the same issue. I went to the auto parts store and bought regular hose clamps. Worked good for me. Quote
Gordon's Hell Posted August 25, 2004 Author Report Posted August 25, 2004 Cool! Worked perfect. Thanks again. Quote
Yaxy Posted August 27, 2004 Report Posted August 27, 2004 Your carb boots are probably not going to last very long that way, I did that for years and went through alot of boots. White broters sells a flange that presses onto the inlet spigot on the carb. Makes for a perfect fit in the stock boots. Chris Quote
