banshee76179 Posted August 23, 2004 Report Posted August 23, 2004 I would try to bend it back... My buddy bent his in the same place we used a 2x4 and a car jack and bent it back it works fine.. just depends on how bad it bent "his was pretty bad." Unless U can get ahold of another frame$$$$ Quote
95blazer Posted September 1, 2004 Report Posted September 1, 2004 I have a quick question in regards to this issue. My brother rolled my banshee in glamis and seems to have bent the frame in this same area. I am going to bend it back but need a piece of information first. How much space should there be between the frame and the front of the gas tank? If anyone has a picture of this area that would be great to. Thanks, Derek Quote
evil Posted September 1, 2004 Report Posted September 1, 2004 best way to straighten it is to have a straight stem to tweak the hoop to. even if the hoop is bent you can cut it off and weld another one on, this time gusset the shit out of it, i did about 25 repairs on the hoop and replaced mabey 7 or 8 of them. people need to lear to keep the rubber side down, or ill just keep making more money if i have the pics at home ill post them as a step by step to the repair.
