Banchetta Posted August 29, 2004 Report Posted August 29, 2004 Since you have the pipes. Throw them on, jet them in and you'll see and know how the T5's run. Then when you ride other shees, you'll know the differences between pipes. You'll notice huge gains over the stock pipes, mostly on top...As far as low end pipes not pulling on top.... I get over 90mph now w/ the stroker and 88mph w/ no porting. The low end pipes have more torque and can pull taller gearing so they make up for top end. Banshees can be mountain goats and when the power comes on way earlier, it doesn't have that hard hit like the high revs do. They are smooth and more predictable...A lot of people get bad impressions of midrange and low end pipes...High revs means your just putting your power at higher rpms...meaning less torque, more wear on the motor, and harder on the clutch. sredish Posted August 29, 2004 Report Posted August 29, 2004 I like torque!! Torque is your friend. Quote
