The gas and oil separate out, but will never remix the same. Your best bet is to mix your gas and oil when you are putting it into the bikes tank and drain it before storing it over an extended period, which basically mean ride her till she's out of gas efroe you put her away. Lukkyphil Posted August 22, 2004 Report Posted August 22, 2004 My understanding is that you lose 2-3 octane per week once the Oil is mixed with the fuel. So it depends on your compression. I only use fuel mixed up within a day or two with 20cc domes. Quote
