Milled coolhead

My friend says you can mill a coolhead, I say you can't cause of the interchangeable domes WTF?

yeah why bother, just change domes? if you did mill it then you would have to recut the grooves for the o-rings and modify the domes as well in order to get the full effect. it's more of a hassle then it's worth.....cost...time......and the chance of screwing up a good after market head . not worth the hassle or cost. just buy a new set of domes.

And the squish wouldn't be right on the domes. You'd be buying new domes anyway.

bansheeryder_69 Your Friend is Right you can do it But it would cost as much as buying a new head to remachine it all over agian. SO your friend is wrong also.

That's the most ridiculous think I've heard. You'd mill a head to increase the compression in the combustion chamber, but then that's one of the benefits of buying a coolhead, so you don't have to mill a head and get added cooling, and you'd f that all up by milling it.
