Banshee~ Posted August 14, 2004 Report Posted August 14, 2004 Does pavement wear tires out real fast...I just got some new Holeshots and I might take the Shee over to a friends house, you have to ride on pavement for a ways to get to the trails and i might want to get some wheelies to Quote
SICK BOY Posted August 14, 2004 Report Posted August 14, 2004 Yup, that will cause them to wear fast. Quote

ssbanshee Posted August 14, 2004 Report Posted August 14, 2004 they wear out like a fat kid on a tread mill Quote
BansheeBrian Posted August 15, 2004 Report Posted August 15, 2004 Holeshots wear quick on blacktop.I know. Quote
Banshee~ Posted August 15, 2004 Author Report Posted August 15, 2004 yea i think ill wait till i find some rims to put my stockers on (sandtires on stock ones) plus i can do burnouts Quote
FadedDreams Posted August 15, 2004 Report Posted August 15, 2004 Like Brian said,Holeshots wear fast if you ride on pavement alot.Don't worry too much about it if your gonna just make a quick trip or 2.But if you keep it up,you'll have a pair of slicks in no time. Quote
sredish Posted August 15, 2004 Report Posted August 15, 2004 Huh, my tires wear much much better on pavement than on dirt, well, maybe that's because it's in the back of the truck.... Hmmmm. Quote
nickxc Posted August 15, 2004 Report Posted August 15, 2004 I run roads all the time. some times for 10 or 15 miles at fast pace and I go through 2 or 3 sets of rears a summer and 1 or 2 sets of fronts. I love running the roads so I just budget for it... Quote
MotulMonsta Posted August 15, 2004 Report Posted August 15, 2004 I don't run on roads..I get about 2 years from a set of tires. Quote
