loganskinner Posted August 14, 2004 Report Posted August 14, 2004 lakeland didnt get hit too hard, the wind blew and the rain came, but nothing spectacular. no trees down and no broken windows around here as far as i can tell. last night at about 9 when it finally passed over, we all took the trucks out to the woods and did a little trail ridin. the water was about 4 ft. thats about the most damage, what we got from the water. they said bartow and ft meade got it good and that means that sand mountain is a damn lake now. lol.
