I had the carbs cleaned and sinced with the other. i checked to make sure the float wasnt stuck, I checked the pilot jet and the air screw. I not sure what it is. its the clutch side thats has blue smoke. I mainly see it when its at idle Edited August 13, 2004 by snogimp Quote
boonman Posted August 13, 2004 Report Posted August 13, 2004 If it has a "funny" odor to it, you may have a blown crank seal. What's the compression? Quote
snogimp Posted August 14, 2004 Author Report Posted August 14, 2004 the compresion is 95 on each. I may need a new top end rebuild. Quote
orion6781 Posted August 14, 2004 Report Posted August 14, 2004 once it gets close to 100 its a good sign to rebuild. get some port work while you are in there!!!! Quote
sheescreams Posted August 14, 2004 Report Posted August 14, 2004 My shee just did the same thing to me i blew a crank seal and i got a new top end which me and my dad are still putting together Quote
snogimp Posted August 14, 2004 Author Report Posted August 14, 2004 well, I yanked the top end off and ordered a seal kit. I also ordered a power piston set from vitos. while I was spending money I didnt have I also ordered as tors elim kit. should be sweet when i put her back together Quote
United Pot Smoker Posted August 15, 2004 Report Posted August 15, 2004 you also just may have a blown gasket. coolent can leak into the cyclinders and you will burn it. have you seen any "stuff" floating when you change your oil? it might sink of float im not sure. but yeah 95 i would say you need to rebuild it. snogimp Posted August 15, 2004 Author Report Posted August 15, 2004 I did check the gasket. That was my first guess, unfortunitly that wasnt the case. looked for the easy fix first. Quote
