Nate, no hair scramble racing this Sunday so I'll be out Coal Hill looking for you guys. I'll be out sometime during the afternoon. I'll take a ride to camp coalfest and look for yas there too. Stay away from the Shamokin end of the strippins\the Mile area.

Hope the rain holds off, looks like it will.

Hey question how far do you ride from WA DC. I am moving out there the beginning of next month from the Tacoma, WA area and have no clue where to ride. Sucks i wont be able to ride at Florence/Winchester Bay, OR anymore, but any riding is better than no riding. My email is [email protected]

you are gonna hate riding the east coast compared to florence.i m in philly and the only good sand riding is 75 miles into n j. better get your 6 ply kevlar belted tires for rocky muddy trails.HOW WAS COAL HILL ON SUN. GUYS?

I am already prepared not to do much riding in the sand even though it is the best riding i have ever experienced. As far as the dunes in OR, Winchester Bay which is 20 miles south of Florence is arguably better. Winchester is where all the big hills are. Any good hill climbing out in that area? It doesnt have to be sand! Hopefully i can meet up with you all when i get out there.

I had fun on Sunday. I went out around 1pm and met up with Nathan and Josh around 3pm and rode with em till 5.30ish. There were alot of people riding, camp coalfest shovel area had a big camper parked there with a nice awning and there were a pile of trucks parked around the shovel, guys and dirtbikes everywhere. The flat part where you turn off the paved road to go back to camp coalfest had 20 vehicles parked there and about 30 people standing around and ridin'. Seen about 10 more riders between camp and "the sand pits" and Coal Hill had fair amount of people there too, maybe 25 to 30 people at once with people coming and going all day long. The weather was warm, low 80's maybe and I just put my airbox back on(ran a toomey 2:1 before sunday) and I didnt re-jet my carbs so I was running a little rich. Fouled out a few spark plugs and was smokin out the pipes more than usual. Too rich that I was having a hard time hitting the powerband when I was hillclimbin'. But out on the trails and when I wasn't on the hills the quad ran good enough for me to have a good day riding. Mud wasnt bad, but it was dusty. I still prefer the wet and the mud over the heat and the dust. I got to ride Nate's(03 Orange Shee) Tri-Z 3 wheeler. That was a new experience for me and it was.... interesting. The trike ran great and had some pep to it, but I was just a little shaky on three wheels. It was neat tho.

Guys im up for riding ANY weekday, weekends are harder for me to get out riding.

Nathan holler next to your coming up

Josh.... your crazy but I love ya. Lets do some filming !!!!

And your girlfriend that you brought along, is she the one you were talking about in the "women" thread in the roostin' room ?? She seemed very nice. Hang on to her. Its cool she went riding with us, I wanna see her thrashin' that ATC 110 next time.

i took my digital camera....... but my batteries were stone dead
