locogato11283 Posted August 8, 2004 Report Posted August 8, 2004 the quickest and easiest way to make a stock raptor go is to push it off a cliff. youll be amazed at the speed it will gain, and then also be amazed at how fast itll stop when it hits the ground. Quote

theeechozen1 Posted August 9, 2004 Report Posted August 9, 2004 pull the baffle, put on a filter and go up bout 5-6 jet sizes, it'll move pretty good, try moving the needles up one clip as well Quote
Dark Ranger Posted August 9, 2004 Report Posted August 9, 2004 I actually remeber seeing a couple Raptors at Little Sahara that were built up. They ran pretty good. After all, they are still Yamaha's! Quote
kenr74 Posted August 9, 2004 Report Posted August 9, 2004 Well, I hate to even say this but I saw a built Raptor a few months ago that was walking all over everything. He beat everything that lined up against him and that included some heavily built Shees and a very nice 250R. I raced him a few times and wanted to cry afterwards. I'm not sure if there was anything on the bike that was still "stock" though. It was the personal bike of the owner of Oregon Powersports. Their website is down right now but it is Oregon Powersports.com. Quote
