chain length?

hey whas up guys just another simple question exactley how long should a chain be for factory banshees im kinda in a bind with cash and my chain is shot so im gonna take the one off my cr 250 and put it on the shee i know it will be too long so how long in inches should it be thanx yall as always you guys help me out .

u can get a 120 link chain at a farm store sround 20 bucks this work till you save 45 to get o-ring on ebay

Loosen chain adjuster all the way (so you can tighten the chain later) then run the chain through the counter shaft sprocket and run the chain around the back sprocket until the two ends meet. fold the extra over on top of itself and use a grinder to grind down the pins so the extra chain comes off. Link the two ends with the master link and wha-la. Make sure you don't make the chain too tight though, remember you can adjust it later with the chain adjustment on the axel.
