2000shee Posted August 2, 2004 Report Posted August 2, 2004 I am going to buy noss heads but I really need to know what kinda domes to order with it i run 87 octane and i was wondering if I would buy the 21 domes would i have to run 93 octane? And also for 21 domes is it ok to run 87 octane? Quote
dlnoss Posted August 2, 2004 Report Posted August 2, 2004 It might be okay to run 87 octane with 21cc domes depending on your elevation but I would recommend running premium pump and getting the 21cc domes. The extra cost per gallon is worth the perfomance difference between 21cc and 22cc domes. Quote

On top of the add compression if your using a castor based oil your lowering the octain levels well below 87. THe real question is 20cc or below domes are worth race gas???? Quote

YOU GOTTA TREAT HER GOOD AND ITLL DO THE SAME, YAMALUBE EHH JUST KNOW YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR. I RUN CASTOR AS WELL AND FROM RESEARCH IT IS ALOT BETTER FOR RING SEALING AND LUBRICATION. Quote
