sweetshee4312 Posted July 28, 2004 Report Posted July 28, 2004 i GOT IT RUNNING RIGHT, ITS FAST, SO FAST, THANKS MEAT, AND JIM AT PASSIONRE, AND H300F, AND EVERYONE THA HELPED ME!!! I got it runnign finally, the carb slides were uneven( i know im dumb) but the only place i can hit the power band is in teh really high rpms, its like bogs bottom, and spitter, and shit middle, then go up an dup till it liek explodes, and is crazy fast......ne sugestions on jetting, im running 320's now, and 27.5 pilots, and middle needle, 100ft elevation 75 degree F Quote
PassionRE Posted July 29, 2004 Report Posted July 29, 2004 Richen the main back up to 340,drop the needles 2 notches and see if its better or worse. If you bump the compression to at least 150psi, it will have more bottom end and mid range. Make certain the carbs are dead on sync wise. Start out around 2 turns on the air screws and after engine is hot, adjust mixture to highest idle, reset for proper idle speed, and then richen up airscrews 1/8 turn. Pay close attention to the plug readings and refer to the chart I sent you. If none of this makes sense, see a professional or maybe a fellow HQ'r in your area can give you some hands on guidance....Jim Quote
