little_leon60 Posted July 24, 2004 Report Posted July 24, 2004 i live in utah but i would be interested... stock cylinders from a 2001 banshee on stock bore in perfect shape Quote
luvsmesand Posted July 24, 2004 Author Report Posted July 24, 2004 we are kinda far apart dont know how we could do it Quote
sandgrencivic2k1 Posted July 24, 2004 Report Posted July 24, 2004 I am interested, but I am curious have you had it bored over yet? Also I know that one cylindar is bad so I would have to have it bored, where can I go to get that done, and which pistons would I have to get? Details are needed. Quote
luvsmesand Posted July 25, 2004 Author Report Posted July 25, 2004 it was bored after it was ported so they are at 20 over now you could have the yamaha dealer in yuba city bore them it costs about 1oo to bore and you would want to use wisco prolite pistons and rings about 130 to 150 depending on where you get them i would prefer to use adrenaline power sports in citrus hts to do the boring and they have the pistons in stock call me if your interested Quote
sandgrencivic2k1 Posted July 25, 2004 Report Posted July 25, 2004 I am interested, however I am going to sand mountain in 2 weeks. So if you want to hold off till then you can. If not and you find someone else to trade then you can. Otherwise when I get back we can work and making a deal. Quote
sandgrencivic2k1 Posted July 25, 2004 Report Posted July 25, 2004 I was wondering if you would be interested in having the work done for me at adrenaline. If you keep the receipts I would pay you for the work done. I am not good at knowing what needs to be done, so it would be a little difficult for me to have the work done. On my cylindars I am not positive that they are on the stock bore, because before I bought it the top end was rebuilt. So I am not positive, so if you are interested we can always try something. luvsmesand Posted July 25, 2004 Author Report Posted July 25, 2004 i would take care of the boring and buy the pistons then you pay me but i would need your cyls first i have a builder waiting on me i would also be willing to help you with disassembly and putting it back together if you havent done it before lket me know Quote
sandgrencivic2k1 Posted July 26, 2004 Report Posted July 26, 2004 I am interested. Can you wait till after August 9th? I have a trip planned to sand mountain, so I want to make sure my shee is running for it. Quote
luvsmesand Posted July 26, 2004 Author Report Posted July 26, 2004 give me a call when you get back have fun at the mountain i know i would Quote
sandgrencivic2k1 Posted August 2, 2004 Report Posted August 2, 2004 I thought it over, and decided that I will just get my cylinders ported. I figured in the long run it is cheaper for me to do it that way, because I am still on the stock bore, so saving $150 isnt too much considering I still have bores to go. sorry to keep you waiting.
