chris642 Posted July 20, 2004 Report Posted July 20, 2004 hey, i just put TR6's on my banshee but i have not rode with them yet. my cousin thinks i should gear it down a tooth or so for the trails, i was wondering if this would kill my top end or just take 4mph or so from my max. I am just woried about this because i want to destroy his piped raptor in a drag. also, what tires should i run, the stock ones do nothing but spin. Thanks Quote
stclark04 Posted July 20, 2004 Report Posted July 20, 2004 (edited) i run t-5's and i dropped two teeth up front to a 12, i do alot of hill climbing and trail riding.. if i drag race someone i usually start in 3rd gear and kill them for a while then once i hit 6th it flattens off. i dont really have much top end anymore, but i never drag. i think if u dropped one tooth to a 13 u would be ok. i run titan fast trekkers, i love them. locogato11283 Posted July 20, 2004 Report Posted July 20, 2004 if you drop a tooth you should be fine. its also gonna get you out of the hole faster. try a 13 tooth. if nothing else it wont cost you much. you can get one from RMATV for like 6 bucks(primary drive). i say go ahead and try it. i dont think youll be disappointed.
