mrman99 Posted July 8, 2004 Report Posted July 8, 2004 had a question on how many big spacers there are on the engine mounts. The clymers book looks like there are two in the front and two in the rear mounts. the spacer washer looks are not round but, cut away on one side, and has the letter "UP" stamped on one side. They go in between the frame tabs and the engine mount. When I pulled off my engine i only remember having the one on the rear right side only. is there 4 all together? how many do you have? Quote
svtkid78 Posted July 8, 2004 Report Posted July 8, 2004 There is supposed to be four of them. Those damn things are like $12.80 a piece at the stealership. Quote
FadedDreams Posted July 8, 2004 Report Posted July 8, 2004 I have 2 as well.I think thats all there is.I bought my Banshee new and i'm the only one whos taken the engine out.Unless they forgot them from the factory. Quote
svtkid78 Posted July 8, 2004 Report Posted July 8, 2004 I just rebuilt bike and had four on mine. One was cracked pretty bad and replaced it. Quote
zilladude Posted July 8, 2004 Report Posted July 8, 2004 there are 2 of those washers/ isolators. they are used to limit the engine movement when under power. when you are stitting on the Shee, one is at the left front mount & one at the right rear mount. Quote
svtkid78 Posted July 8, 2004 Report Posted July 8, 2004 Damn, I just know that I had four of them on my bike. Sounds like they gave me some extra stuff on mine. I just finished putting mine together like 30 mins ago and i'm positive I had 4 of them.hmmmm Quote
