Chanceb
me and my cousin were talkin the other day. And he asked me to see what you guys prefure for carb set ups. He wants to see what one big carb will do instead of two lil ones. I asked if he was into top end or bottom end power and he wasn't sayin so...not to much help there. He just asked what u guys prefure. As far as I know he's got 01 shee, fmf fattys, k$n, shaved head 20thou, bored 30over, reed spacers, maybe adv timing. thanx
frocashmoney24
a single carb setup is great for bottom end, it does take a small amout off the top, but it gives great throttle responce and its easy as hell to jet to
KRMit
Single carb gives loads more bottom end, but takes away a little from top. It depends on your riding. If you just haul ass wide open all the time I'd stick with the dual carbs. For woods and jumps however, go single.
Chanceb
thats what I guessed and told him, thought it would be like a two into one exhaust. Whats sizes would you guys recommend?..32mm? 34mm? or a big ol 40mm flatside?
KRMit
I've got a 35 and am running almost the highest main you can. I'm not sure what would happen with a 32, haven't tried it. Considering the mods you listed he'd probably be ok running a 32 or 35mm.
