Klotzban1 Posted June 29, 2004 Report Posted June 29, 2004 What size rebuild kit starts a CHEETAH set up for a Banshee? Quote
banshee04le Posted June 29, 2004 Report Posted June 29, 2004 400 stock stroke setup for about $2200 is the smallest and cheapest. A dude runnin' that setup was spankin' everybody around here and he just recently sold it and spent about $4500 on the 535 10mm Cheetah and he says he dont have it dialed in just yet but it is not much quicker than his old 400. Klotzban1 Posted June 29, 2004 Author Report Posted June 29, 2004 WOW....I heard they pull hard,....Its way past my income though. Quote
00BANSHEE Posted June 29, 2004 Report Posted June 29, 2004 I run the 400 stock stroke setup and it does pull real hard. Couldn't be happier with it. Don't forget you will have to buy some carbs and filter kit if you don't already have some. Quote
Klotzban1 Posted June 29, 2004 Author Report Posted June 29, 2004 Is the 404 rebuild kit close? Ive seen them on Ebay ..NEW. I have a K&N filter and coolhead already. I would think that most mods I have so far would work, except my carbs. I'm trying to stay within the pump gas range. Quote
deli sandwich Posted June 30, 2004 Report Posted June 30, 2004 (edited) havn't been around here in a looong time.........anyway, i have the 421 and it pulls like a freight train, power everywhere. Im having electrical problems right now (right cylinder not firing) but besides that its completley reliable. Even only running on one cylinder its still as fast as a blaster . If your looking for a comparison, my friend had a YFZ piped, K&N, and cam and i beat him like he wasn't moving. Edited June 30, 2004 by deli sandwich Quote
Klotzban1 Posted June 30, 2004 Author Report Posted June 30, 2004 Did you have to change your swingarm, Deli? Quote
Klotzban1 Posted June 30, 2004 Author Report Posted June 30, 2004 Good to see you back, deli. You, Blue Duece, screamin banshee, Banchetta and dlnoss helped me last summer with some knowledge under Bansh97 and my shee tor up several challenging quads since then. Many Thanks Guys!! I'm gonna be facing a harder opponent this time. My setup right now pulls hard right now, and my motor is still stock. From whats in my signature I took them so far but as you know....this 450 I know needs to be haunted. I sacrificed my 14 tooth sprocket for a 15 tooth for more gear pull. Quote
