PolyKarbon Posted June 25, 2004 Report Posted June 25, 2004 Ok, Im tired of relying on my friends and their trucks to get my shee around. I have a 2001 Toyota Celica and a 1994 Ford Escort (ugly fuckin car). Neither has a way to hitch a trailer. The frame doesnt extend all the way to the rear of the car. So my question is.....How the hell do I get my shee from place to place? My friends NEVER want to go ride the quads, so I havent been in like a month. Also if anyone lives near Ft. Campbell KY, or if you ride at Land Between the Lakes, get in touch so we can go ride. Thanks. Quote
DUNEDEMON Posted June 25, 2004 Report Posted June 25, 2004 If the car is already ugly, just say f*ck it and drill some holes in the roof and trunk, install some eye-bolts, build / buy some ramps, ride the bike up on the car and tie it down to the eye-bolts...done! Quote
Banshee169 Posted June 25, 2004 Report Posted June 25, 2004 I've seen it done before, hard core riders buddy! Quote
PolyKarbon Posted June 25, 2004 Author Report Posted June 25, 2004 Awww cmon man, I need a reasonable solution. I could still use my celica, though it is a nice car. Quote
racer Posted June 25, 2004 Report Posted June 25, 2004 (edited) go to your local steel yard and get a stick of 1 1/2in 13ga. steel. then get out your sawzall, welder, and measuring tape and get after itnot gonna need to be too sturdy if your only haulin a shee plus a stick is only like $12 Edited June 25, 2004 by therail Quote
roosthrower Posted June 25, 2004 Report Posted June 25, 2004 sell the pos car and buy a pos truck. even if the truck is a pos it will still get your shee from place to place. Quote
MotulMonsta Posted June 25, 2004 Report Posted June 25, 2004 I just left Ft. Campbell 3 months ago and I gave my pickup way to a freind of mine. I'm now living it up in Ft. Livingroom. You can find pickups for cheap there...I picked my old 89 rust red F-150 4x4 for 1900 bones. Quote
kenr74 Posted June 25, 2004 Report Posted June 25, 2004 Get a hitch on that thing and a cheap trailer. For $300 you are good to go. CLICK HERE Quote
