Dont turn to the dark side! Come back into the light. You could dump tons of money into the 450 and still never be as fast as a Banshee can be. Take the $7000 you would spend on the 450 AND DUMP IT INTO THE SHEE! Then you will have a bike that is hard to hold on to. Bye Bye 450's. :bolt:

i know but those 450's are sweet i would like to ride one to see if there what everyone says they are,but dont get me wrong i love my banshee but then i think about them 450's again :shootself: i ride mostly woods and need something that wont spin alot and i was wondering if i should dump more money into tire or just get a 450 with the better suspension and chassis.the only stock bike i couldent beat drag racing at LS was the yfz450

personally, i don't really like the look of the 450's. they may be an awsome ride, but again, for the extra $$ you'd have into one, if you put some of that into your shee to customize it for your riding terrain and style, i would think you'll be just as happy, since it's a toss up for you to begin with. besides, i'd prefer a screaming banshee over a blaghh thumper any day! :headbang:

ive got a 450 and a banshee. i bought the 450 after that banshee, and would NEVER trade off a banshee for a 450. i am a 2 stroke rider for sure, so ill always have them. i think instead of you asking us whether you should get one or not, i think you should just go get one. its obvious you really want one. get one, then when you get bored buy another banshee. if at all possible keep the banshee and buy a 450. you are kinda asking a biased crowd here.

You could also try cutting down your swingarm to -2, I havnt done mine yet but others swear by it, its ment to provide you with a crap load more traction
