cb67rs1 Posted May 22, 2004 Report Posted May 22, 2004 you have to pull the clutch cover and take the clutch pressure plate off and pull the rod out that runs through the gear shaft to that lever. if you dont do that you will NEVER get that lever out. Quote

From what I remember, you drain your oil, take off the clutch over, remove the 6 bolts holding the pressure plate and springs on, once you remove that, the ball, rod, and other ball should come out. You might have to tip your bike, but if you have a magnetic screw driver it would help. Quote
DirtRider Posted May 23, 2004 Report Posted May 23, 2004 its called a clutch release lever. trmove the left han carb loosen the cable so you can get the most slack from the cable at the handlebars. remove the clutch cover loosen the adjuster lock nut and turn it 1-2 turns counter clockwise with phillips screw driver disconnect the clutch cable at the release lever. remove the bolts and brackets holding the lever to the case, and pull out the relese lever. get a clymers Quote
