You can't.... they are not made to be replaced. If you get them out be prepared to buy a new A-arm.

From the Arm or the spindle? You can't remove the ball joints from the A-arms but you can remove them from the spindles. You got to buy a ball joint removal tool..there are two types.one looks like a fork..that will tear your seals up..but it's fast. The other looks like a 2 or 3 jaw gear puller..only smaller. This one takes a while and can damage the balljoint shaft if done wrong.

i have an easier way than buying a puller (for removing the ball joint from the spindle). hit the side of the spindle (where the ball joint is inside) with a hammer, and the spindle pops right off.

Yeah...f*ck that. Just take a bolt with a nut on it & place it in between where the 2 ball joints bolts are, get it snug, then back out the nuts on the ball joints...basically your' just pressing it outwards...keep backing the nut off the balljoint & the pressure will pop it loose out of the spindle. Works like a champ, did it last night on my roomate's 400ex. He spent 2 hours trying to get his a-arms off...I spent all of maybe 10 minutes and didn't f*ck up the threads/nuts/anything, except maybe his ego a bit. :P:D

Hope that made sense. hehe

yea but if u do that, make sure u leave the nut on the threads or else it'll mess em all up

im not talking about hitting the bolt part of the ball joint, im talking about hitting the side of the SPINDLE. [most of the time] it takes 10 seconds to break the ball joint free of the spindle, and doesnt hurt anything in the process, except scratches the paint on the side of your spindle, which can be avoided easily with a cloth, etc

ledofthezep, sorry but your post made zero sense. i'd like to know what you're talking about though.
