banshee_kid350 Posted May 18, 2004 Report Posted May 18, 2004 I am assembeling my new top end and I was wondering what kind of assembly oil I should use and how much should I put on? any help would be appreciated thanks Quote
adeezy9183 Posted May 18, 2004 Report Posted May 18, 2004 you mean to lube up the cylinders? if that's the case, then i would go with the same oil you mix with gas. check for more replys though because i'm not 100% on that Quote
SDD Posted May 18, 2004 Report Posted May 18, 2004 Use premix to lube the pistons/cylinders. Use grease on all the wear surfaces of seals. Use premix on bearings on the crank. Gear oil on all bearing in the tranny and clutch plates. I think that should be all of the spots. Quote
