Dyna Ignition

I'm getting a Dyna ignition and it says that it has a tach output. My question is how would you hook a tach up on a shee with a Dyna ignition? I read a post about putting a tach on a shee and they said it won't work. Since the Dyna ignition has a tach ouput shouldn't it work?

Double check the dyna website. There is currently no tach output on the banshee box. There is an RPM activated switch(like for a shift light or something similar), but nothing that puts out a tach signal.

Well I was reading on their website and reading the features that it has and a tach output was one of them.

Like I said, go back and read it again. There is a chart which lists the features available by model. Look at that. The tach is NOT available on the banshee currently.

I run the Dyna and I don't think it has a tach output. If you want a tach by a tiny tach from Dennis Kirk I used one for a while and got tired of it. They are about $50 and I used industrial velcro to attach it to my gas tank for easy viewing. To make them work take the signal wire and wrap it around the spark plug wire a few times and your done. They also come with a ground wire if you want to use it as an hour meter ground it to a bolt.
